Project Information

The Client:

Liora Perinatal provides counselling and doula services to perinatal populations located in St. John’s, NL. The founder, Jordanna Comeau is a registered social worker and a (certifying) birth and postpartum doula. Her passion is helping birthing people feel supported, empowered, and resilient as they navigate the perinatal journey.

The Goal:

The goal of this website was to create a professional and approachable website where potential counselling and doula clients can find out more about her services and ultimately reach out and book her an appointment. Jordanna needed branding, copywriting, and website design and development services to achieve this goal on tight timeline, as she planned on launching the business as soon as the site was live.

Services Provided:

  • Branding & Copy Guidance

  • Website Strategy

  • Template Site Customization

  • Squarespace Website Design & Development

The Results

The result of the website was a 10 + page Squarespace website customized to the brand we developed from a fantastic template we found, specifically for counsellors and therapists. (Thank you, Rebecca Reisner!) featuring a blog and that functions as an access point for patients and an authority building asset for the company. We were able to take the brand guidelines from the Pharmasave franchise and combine them with Stephanie’s preferences to create a visual identity that is uniquely her and still recognizably on-brand for Pharmasave.

Highlights

🎨Crafting A Gorgeous Brand

I loved putting together the branding for Jordanna and Liora Perinatal. With collaboration and open communication we created a brand that feels both professional and approachable/inclusive without being overly “cute” or “too organic”.

✨ Customizing The Site From A Template

Here is a screenshot of the before and after of the template site. What I loved about working this way was that a lot of the base design work was complete and we were able to produce the full website at speed, while still adding that little bit of extra flair in various places.

🚀 Launching in a Week

Using a “Website in a Week” format, we kept the project focused and efficient. With prep work completed up front, we were able to build, refine, and launch in just five days—without sacrificing quality or strategy.
